Customer stories
Stories, once there are stories to tell.
This is where accounts of real activations will live: what an organization started from, what it did, and what changed.
None are published yet, and nothing here stands in for one.
Status
Nothing here yet, and nothing invented in the meantime.
A story goes up when an organization has agreed to be named and has approved what it says.
Until that happens the honest thing is an empty index, not a composite or an anonymised example presented as real.
The one entry below is a format demonstration.
It is labelled as such on the card and again on the page itself.
The format
What a published story will cover.
Every story follows the same five parts, so one can be compared with another rather than read as a standalone pitch.
- 01
Organization context
What kind of member network it is, how large a community it serves, and which teams the network matters to.
- 02
The dormant-data challenge
What the organization held before activation, where it lived, and what it could not tell them about their own members.
- 03
The activation approach
How records were brought in, how members were invited and verified, and what the organization's own team had to do.
- 04
The Scout workflow
Which objectives the organization set, what Scout surfaced against them, and how recommendations reached the people who acted on them.
- 05
Outcomes
What changed, described in the organization's own terms and published only with its approval.
Format preview
One example, and it is not a customer.
A single entry exists so the story template can be reviewed before there is anything real to put in it.
In the meantime
What there is to read instead.
The product argument does not depend on stories that have not been written.
For the Organization
The full case: dormant records, activation, the relationship graph, and what Scout does with it.
Universities
One organization type in depth. Fraternities and sororities, associations, affinity groups, and enterprise networks each have their own.
Warm Introductions
One outcome in depth, and the clearest explanation of Scout's role as a relationship broker.
Rather see it against your own network?
A working session on your membership data will tell you more than a case study about someone else's.
